Strong Storms Sweep Through Tallahassee

Tallahassee residents woke up to widespread damage after storms swept through the state Friday evening. As of 7:30 AM Saturday, 79,000 City of Tallahassee utility customers were without power and cars lined up at gas stations around the city.

Possible Tornadoes Downed Trees, Damaged Buildings

There are reports Friday morning of possible tornado activity in Tallahassee. The National Weather Service will be surveying the damage on Saturday to determine if tornadoes occurred.
