Amazon Warehouse Deals: Buyer Beware
Used - Acceptable Apparently Means Destroyed
A recent Amazon Warehouse Deals purchase has left a customer questioning the accuracy of the company's grading system. The customer purchased a used item that was listed as "Used - Acceptable," but the item arrived in a severely damaged condition.
According to Amazon's website, "Used - Acceptable" condition means the item is "fairly worn but continues to function properly." However, the customer's item was missing screws and parts, had dents and scratches, and was completely unusable.
The customer contacted Amazon customer service to report the issue, but was told that the item was sold as-is and that no refund would be issued. The customer is now warning other shoppers to be wary of Amazon Warehouse Deals, as the condition of the items may not be as advertised.
